Everything old is eventually new again– right?!
Ever since their come back in the 90’s, I’ve always held a bit of a special place in my heart for bell bottom jeans. They are just FUN!!
Earlier this year, I scored a pair of super cute sailor inspired denim bells at Express that I absolutely fell in love with!
These denim bells needed to be hemmed up a bit, but besides that? They fit like a dream and deviating from my go-to skinnies and boyfriend jeans is a breath of fresh air!
That is the beauty of denim though, right? Despite changes in things like cuts and details– it’s never truly out of style– it just recycles through the decades.
Beyond the flared legs that are creeping their way back into stores (yaaassss!!), this fall the overarching, MAJOR denim trend is simply …detail, detail, DETAIL!
From patches to two-toned washes, patch work, frayed hemlines, exposed zippers and one of my favorites– ruffles!– the more unexpected the details are the better!
Ruffled denim is currently topping my list and I am currently crushing BIG TIME on these two super unique styles…
That ruffle denim dress is a little reminiscent of Britney’s matchy denim look back in the day, doesn’t it??
Both of the above are definite splurge styles, but I a girl can dream.
