We’ve all been there. It’s a serious problem.
When we aren’t removing the clothes that we don’t wear anymore it is hard to really grasp what clothes we have that we actually will and want to wear. Keeping our closets stocked with things we are never-ever-ever going to wear can give the illusion that we have plenty of clothes– when in reality, we do not. It also sometimes buries clothes that we actually would wear … if we could see them and remembered that we owned them!
All of this is why I am a firm believer in semi-annual wardrobe edits– once in the fall, once in the spring.
Well, truth be told t can be a lot of work– especially those of us who are trying to organize a small closet with lots of clothes, BUT it always pays off in the end!
Today on my YouTube Channel, I’m sharing what I’m dubbing a “Beast Mode guide to editing and organizing your closet“. I’m a woman on a mission and from organizing your hangers to donating clothes we’ve been hanging on to because of emotional attachment– we are going to get our wardrobes in order, my friends.
Remember: Even though the clothes in our closet aren’t stamped with an expiration date like the food in our fridge, they most definitely have a shelf life! The key is to recognize it!
