Maxi dresses are one of my favorite things to wear in warm weather. No matter where you are going, a maxi-dress always makes you feel dressed for the occasion– with minimal effort– and let’s be honest, when we are always crunched on time, stylish-minimal effort outfits are like GOLD.

We all know how obsessed I am with the whole show-your-shoulder trend right?
If you haven’t already hopped on this train, **Chooo! Chooo!* …. Do it!!
It’s fun. It’s flirty and flattering on EV.ER.Y.BOD.Y!
This powder blue dress with soft pink roses print called-mah-naaame right from the rack at Nordstrom and when I tried it on, I instantly had one those “THIS WAS MADE FOR ME” moments that always feels ah-mazing.
The double layer chiffon material is super light (though I warn, a tad see-through) but, what makes this particular maxi dress even more amazing for spring time is how flattering the flowy tiered top is for anyone who is not yet ready/comfortable to fully bare summer-time arms.
I confess to you today that I purchased this dress with ZERO idea where I would wear it. I just knew it needed to be mine. Beautiful spring and summer days always find reasons to get a little fancy– right?
So whether you are in need of an outfit for Mother’s Day brunch or you are just starting to brainstorm your personal wishlist, I put together a few equally amazing off the shoulder/cold shoulder dresses for you to consider, because friends don’t leave friends in the dark about dresses that are going to make them look like a goddess.
