Fuller, more luxurious hair is something we all covet, am I right?
The truth is most of those perfect heads of hair we all drool over, have a little help… namely, a team of stylists and super expensive extensions– and who has the time or money like that?
With my stick-straight, paper thin hair and gorgeous-tress day-dreams, I have become somewhat of an extension junkie over the years. I’ve tried various long-term and short-term wear extensions and they’ve all had their pros and cons.
In my experience, long-wear ones can be great but also pricey. The clip-ins usually leave something to be desired when comes to quality … not to mention, for us fine-hair girls can be a bit of an art form to put in without the clips showing (and ain’t nobody got time for that).
Well this month, I was introduced to a new line of extensions that are way better than clip-ins and transforms your hair into longer, fuller locks in minutes– literally.

Daisy Fuentes Secret Extensions is an extension headband that blends seamlessly into your hair. The band itself is thin but strong enough to grip onto your head. The hair, although not “real hair” it is good quality– and you can buy Secret Extensions for only $39.99!
Updated: The length of these extensions are 16″ so they work best for shoulder length hair. I recommend using at least 2 bands if your hair is thin like mine.
How does it work?
– You put the band over your head.
– To conceal the band, pull through your middle hair section, as well as the hair that frames your face.
– Style with or without low heat tools.
It’s literally that simple.
I like to keep my hair away from my face, so my go-to looks are usually pinned to the side or half up-half down.
Below you can see how easy I was able to style my hair, pulled back a bit and no sign of the hair band!
Simple enough to use casually as well as for special occasions, these extensions are not made of human hair but are a better quality than most clip-in synthetics I’ve used to date. Being able to wash and style them with low-heat styling tools– is ah-mazing!
