I was just in the middle of the most heavenly, mild, snowless, winter-daydream filled with visions of light jackets, suede booties and tartan blanket-scarves warding off the chill in the air, when I was suddenly jolted awake to the buzz about this crazy Jonas brothers snow storm that is set to hit this weekend.
What? what? whaaaatt??
Don’t get me wrong. The blanket of white powdery flakes is undoubtably pretty, but after it’s done falling it leaves an icy, sloshy mess in its wake… and that? I can do without.
Bottom line: We can’t beat the weather, so we might as well muster up a plan to enjoy it, Yes?
So, for this Friday’s Fresh Picks, I’m sharing my Snow Storm Inspired Style favorites, because when life gives you a storm named after Nick Jonas, a girls gotta be prepared….
But for the record, while the snow is falling my plan is to enjoy some hot cocoa with the fam, maybe read, maybe bake, maybe declutter… and definitely stay in my Victoria’s Secret thermal pajamas & fluffy robe– ALL. DAY. LONG.
