You know when you find something that is so freaking amazing you need to text all your girls and scream it from the mountain tops? Well that is how I feel about the soft and sexy basic t-shirts I snagged at the mall!
I know, I know. Basic T-shirts don’t sound or even look like the most thrilling thing in your closet, but lets be honest “jeans and t-shirt days” can go one of two ways: Cute and comfy or lame and frumpy. One of the keys to nailing it every time is undoubtably the perfect fitting, perfect feeling t-shirt.
I began my love affair with American Eagle Soft And Sexy Tees last summer. I had never felt anything like them and so I did what any reasonable clothes horse would do– I bought it in every color they had available in my size.
These shirts soft, slinky are made of buttery heaven.
I wore them TO DEATH and let me tell you– they wash even better than they feel.
No fading. No shrinking. NADA.
Fast forward to today. Not only has American Eagle added a slew of colors (and patterns!) to their perfect cotton t-shirt line, but they also expanded the “soft and sexy” line and now make a bunch of different cuts and styles in that same heavenly material!!!
Express One Eleven is new to me. I’m sure it’s been around for quite some time but, when I go to Express I’m usually looking for cute dress clothes for an occasion or work function. Express One Eleven is all about basics and feel crazy- similar to to my favorite American Eagle Soft And Sexy shirts.
Like AEO they have your basic T’s in a variety of colors– and what stopped me in my tracks was syles. They were different than American Eagle’s Soft and Sexy tops– so again, I scooped up a few!
Both of these t-shirt lines are super affordable and both stores run tons of great sales throughout the year!
So when you see an insane deal, STOCK UP! These are basics you don’t want to live without.

I'm glad to hear these American eagle shirts washed well for you because I just grabbed a bunch. Do you put them in the dryer? I'm worried about them shrinking. I love the way they are fitting new.
They wash like a dream!
