Little girls love dressing up like their Mamas almost as much as their Mamas love dressing up their little girls like them! Delaina is nine now and I have to say, I feel incredibly fortunate that she still becomes giddy with excitement whenever I buy us matching mother-daughter outfits. I know this won’t last forever. One day she will inevitably decide its “uncool” to be matchy-matchy with her mother, so I’m soaking up what is likely my last handful of months (maybe year?) while I can.
You might remember a few months back I shared with you guys a cute retro-inspired, high waisted 2 piece swimsuit I snagged on Amazon (for $25!!!). While I do love me a stylish one piece, this suit quickly became a favorite of mine because it’s a two piece that’s not overly revealing.
The off the shoulder top (though admittedly not ideal for tan lines– ha ) is super trendy right now and can double as a cute top under overalls or a dress. The bottoms have rouching– which if you didn’t know, is the secret sauce when it comes to finding a flattering swimsuit…. and then you guys, I found that there was a matching bathing suit for little girls!!
In fact, I found that this was not the only super cute (affordable) matching mother-daughter bathing suit on Amazon! There are a bunch– so I thought I’d share a few of my favorite finds.
The girls sizing only goes up to a children’s size 8 – and these suits are made in China, so that makes that size 8 a lot more like a 6 or 5. You want to be sure to size up (this goes for the adult styles too) and if possible take measurements and order according to that.
Now Delaina is at this weird stage where I never know her size. Her size is truly different in every store and nothing ever fits 100% perfect– it’s either a little big or a pinch too small. What I do know is that she is beyond a size 10– so what I did was found a similar adult style, ordered an XS and said a prayer. It was a tiny bit big, but overall fit comfortably.
I adore this set, which is why we wore it! They look super cute on the screen and in person.

If you love floral prints, check these out! They are basically the same thing I modeled earlier, but with a really flirty and fun fauna print. I adore the green bottoms.
